Our Story

Like many kids, founders Huck and Wyatt loved sports and couldn't get enough. It wasn't until they grew and matured that they realized what a big business the sports industry really was. The idea of Refr Sports stemmed a few years ago as they realized how much technology was growing in every other industry and how much room for improvement there was in the referee space. As two young 22 year old business owners, Huck and Wyatt aim to bring a spark of technology and a smooth universal way for sports organizations to communicate with and acquire referees for events.

Wyatt Gustafson

Wyatt is a recent graduate from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Wyatt now aims to pair his technical education with a curious and entrepreneurial mindset to produce solutions that will create a simpler tomorrow.

Huck currently attends the University of CO Boulder, 850 miles away from his home city Minneapolis. Before college, Huck played a year of juniors hockey on the east coast. It was during this intense year of hockey when Huck decided to shift gears, going from playing sports to desiring to improve sports.
